Chocolate martini recipes for chocolate cocktail lovers.

I looked down my list of chocolate martini recipes, and thought “Mmmmm!….Lots of lovely recipes to try….but I have more! So here they are, more martini recipes to try. If variety is the spice of life then for chocolate martini lovers and cocktail fanatics, this is as spicy as chocolate cocktails get!

And yet simple and delicious...

Hazelnut vodka chocolate martini

Serves 1

You can substitute the hazelnut with almond, orange, or mint liqueur, for a dramatic change.

  • 30ml vodka
  • 15ml hazelnut liqueur
  • 15ml crème de cacao

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice, add the vodka, hazelnut liqueur and crème de cacao, and shake briskly. Strain the cocktail into a chilled martini glass.

Dark Russian

Serves 1

  • 2 scoops chocolate ice cream
  • 60ml milk
  • 30ml dark crème de cacao
  • 30ml cinnamon schnapps
  • 30ml vodka
  • Slices of fresh banana to garnish

Blend all the ingredients, except the banana, in a blender until smooth. You may need to start off pulsing to break up the mixture enough to get it going to the smooth mix you are after.

Pour the chocolate into a chilled highball or Collins glass. Garnish with the slices of banana.

Brandy Alexander

Serves 1

  • 45ml brandy
  • 45ml single cream
  • 2 tablespoons white crème de cacao
  • Freshly ground nutmeg to dust

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice, add the brandy, cream and crème de cacao. Shake well and strain into a chilled martini glass. Dust with the nutmeg.

Chocolate martini recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 measures vodka
  • 1 measure crème de cacao
  • 1 dash of cocoa powder

Chill glass and then rim the glasses with the cocoa powder (use egg white to make it stick).

Pour in the alcohol and enjoy!
